Overview

Stack Overflow for Teams Enterprise (SOE) includes AI features, including Enhanced Search. Enhanced Search uses AI to collate and summarize search results into an easy-to-read form, giving you a jump start on locating and understanding the information you seek. You can also turn the Enhanced Search results into a new question and answer on your site, preserving the AI-generated content to benefit other users.

Enhanced Search summary

After a site administrator enables Enhanced Search, all users will see an AI-generated summary at the top of their regular search results.

To read the original content that AI used to craft its summary, click any link under the "Sources" heading.

Enhanced Search knowledge capture

To turn the AI-generated content into a new question and answer on your site, click Save as Q&A.

This takes you to the "Ask a question" page, where AI will pre-populate several fields based on your search query and AI-generated results. This feature places your search query in the Title field, and leaves the Body field blank for you to elaborate on your question.

Further down the form, AI adds the "ai-generated" tag. You can add additional tags to this pre-populated tag. Enhanced Search adds its AI-generated summary in the Answer field, and prepends "This answer was generated by AI". You can edit the answer as needed before posting.

When you're satisfied with the new question's Title, Body, Tags, and Answer, click Post your question and answer to save the new content to your site.

NOTE: Though Enhanced Search generated the initial answer, SOE attributes the question and answer to you. You'll receive all future reputation for the content.
