Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to control access to your Stack Overflow for Teams site using an Identity Provider (IdP). Stack Overflow for Teams SSO uses the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) standard. You can learn more about SAML in our SAML Authentication Overview article.

With SSO set up, your IdP will handle authentication of users. Only users you've granted access to will be able to log in to your site.
