Admin privileges required

NOTE: The Jira integration is only available on Jira Software Cloud.

Go to the Stack Overflow for Teams app in the Atlassian Marketplace and click Get it now to install the app.

Once you've installed the app in Jira, click Get started to connect the app to your Team on Stack Overflow.

The following screen tells you what the app will access and share between Jira and Stack Overflow for Teams. Click on Connect with Stack Overflow to proceed.

That will take you to Stack Overflow, where you'll be prompted to log in if you aren't already logged in. After that, you'll see a page listing all of your Teams. You can connect Jira to any Team you're an Admin on, by clicking Connect next to the corresponding Team. If you're not an admin, you can request your admin to install the integration by clicking Request Installation.

Once you (or your Team's admin) have connected the app, you're good to go!
